Tyler has been with Huggard & Ewing since July of 2015. He has previous marketing experience with the Providence Bruins where he helped advertise and promote for the team. The Johnson and Wales graduate enjoys spending his free time at sporting events.Q: Who inspires you?
A: My parents are the people who inspire
me the most. They taught me to work hard at everything I do and give it my all.
They also taught me how to treat others with respect. They showed my sister and
I how to have a strong family bond. We are always having family over the house
for parties or just to hang out.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: Portugal. More specifically Sao Miguel island on the Azores. I want to see
where my grandfather was born and raised. I want to travel to all of the
islands and mainland to see the culture.
A: My biggest achievement is graduating from Johnson and Wales University. I graduated a trimester early and had a job before I walked across the stage.

November's Employee Highlight: Johnny Lewis
Jon, one of our three product specialists, has been selling cars since 1979! He considers himself a devoted family man who has been happily married to his wife, Angela, for 38 years. Together they have three sons who are all huge baseball fans, just like their dad. Jon is known for his sense of humor and is a huge "old movie" buff.
We sat down with Kevin and asked him a few questions so you can get to know him better!
Q: Who inspires you? Why?
A:Â My father definitely inspired me more than anyone I have ever met. He was a poor Jewish kid from the streets of the old west end of Boston and Mattapan. He became an excellent pro boxer at a young age. Then, at age nineteen when the U.S was attacked at Pearl Harbor, he joined the Army, as his father did in WW1. After becoming regimental Welter Weight champ, he was sent to fight the Nazi scourge in Europe. He fought before D-Day, in D-Day and through the Battle of the Bulge to the end. He won many medals for bravery under fire and won the purple heart. He was one of the liberators for the Dachau concentration camp. He returned home to take care of his widowed mother and little sister. Then my dad went on to give my mother, my brother and I a wonderful life. My father will always be the bravest man I've ever met and will be my hero until the day I die. He truly had a heart of gold.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A:Â I want to retrace my fathers footsteps in Europe. I want to go with my three sons and my wife. We would see the beaches of Normandy, where so many brave soldiers sacrificed their lives. I want us to visit Bastogne, where my father fought. I want to visit the Dachau concentration camp where my father and the other soldiers freed so many from unimaginable horror.
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A:Â My biggest achievement by far was marrying my sweetheart when I was 23 years old. Along with marrying her, my biggest achievement would also include having my three wonderful sons. I love my wife and kids more than life itself, they are my motivation and reason for living!

Q: Who inspires you? Why?
A:Â My parents. As Portuguese immigrants, my parents instilled lessons about hard work, balancing your life and building a career that aligns with your passions. Their story is the American dream, they came into this country from the island of Santa Maria in the Azores with little to no money, without knowledge of the language and without much education. My father worked three jobs, saved money, went back to the Azores, married my mother and brought her to America. Everyday I am thankful for everything they have both done for my sister and I.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A:Â I am not much of a traveler, but I did love my vacation to Aruba back in April and would definitely go again. Also, I would like to take my girlfriend Amanda to Santa Maria, Azores so that she can see where my parents and grandparents grew up.Â
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A:Â I would honestly have to say my greatest achievement has been the 22 years I have worked at Huggard and Ewing. I started off as just an 18 year old kid in the summer of 1996 as the "cheap summer help". Now I am the service department shop foreman and the longest tenured employee in the company. I was blessed to have worked alongside my father for 21 years before he retired in December.
